TPW Comic – 39

Things are looking a bit rough here income wise.  The future is uncertain, but you can help support this comic and keep it coming out on time every week by heading over to Patreon and donating.  It is a once a month donation that will make all the difference!

We only have a little over $50 to go before the comic is self-supporting.  We can do this!  Be sure to share the comic with your friends and family.  Let’s spread the word!

Thank you!

Decorating the Hovel

Clio’s house is featured predominantly in the upcoming page of the comic so I have spent much of my time getting it ready for its big debut.  Little details make the scene, so I am making sure that those little things are perfect.  Everything in the scene has a story.  I do that mostly because I’m a masochist but also because it adds depth to a scene and allows the visuals to be more than something overly simple.  Most of what is out there won’t ever make it to print, but it *might* so I spend time making the environment, rather than just a few out of place scenes.

It’s nearly done, then I can get the photos for the next page of the comic, edit them together and have something to post come next Tuesday.

That is, so long as the holidays don’t steal all my time.  I’ve got quite a few things that need to be done for home and family and they come first.  I’m sure you all understand that, so thank you for your patience.  I will do my best to get a comic out asap!

A Few Technical Difficulties

So, Second Life is no longer loading avatars for me.

This… could be a problem.  I am still working on solutions, but that is why I can only offer you a teaser peak at the next comic.  I need to get it working so I can take the pictures I need to complete it.

Ugh.

MATURE CONTENT:  You have been warned.

They understand each other.  They don’t have to like it, but they know exactly where they stand.

It is hard to keep your attention on one world, let alone two.  It’s even harder to pay attention when you have a beautiful half naked woman tempting you.  Add to the fact that Charles hasn’t had a body in … ages.  I can see why he might be a little too distracted to respond to Eudora.

So AAAAAGEs ago I wrote a short novella about these two characters.  It holds a few spoilers for this comic in it.  I’m debating taking it down so as not to spoil the comic.  But it’s been out on the internet for years.  I doubt I could hide it from someone who *really* wanted to read it.

I’m still trying to make up my mind on it.

Two months out and things are quiet aboard The Jeweled Heron… too quiet.

And who is this?  Charles, the creepy brain in a box?

TPW – Chapter 2!

Today we start Chapter 2 of The Prophet’s Web!  Things are just starting to get interesting for our crew, lots of adventures in store!

Ah, but Boyd, can you ever ~truly~ be safe? *smirks*

19 pages and we finally get moving!  Huzzah!  The lovely background provided by the Lucentia sim.  Part of this years Fantasy Faire.  It’s an absolutely beautiful build!

TPW Comic – 017

So it turns out running a LARP as a business takes up an amazing amount of time.  I have spent the last few months getting some processes set up so things will run smoothly for the rest of the game’s life.  Now it’s just a matter of testing those processes and getting them tweaked enough to actually keep them useful from month to month.

I was supposed to go to another LARP this weekend, but I’ve decided my mental health was more important.  FREE WEEKEND!!  I’m going to relax and enjoy it as much as I can before the craziness kicks up again.

One of the things I had wanted to catch up on is this comic!  Here is page 17, sorry it took me so long to get it out.  I kinda figured it would be that way once business picked up.  Still, I have lots of ideas for this story and I am determined to get it out there!

That being said.  I’ve closed the sim I used to host this comic’s scenes on, so while I search for another one I am going to have to do some … creative storytelling to make this comic go.

Part of the fun of the creation I suppose!
